What's that you say?
No, no, I don't think I heard you correctly.
Wait, seriously? The Royal Wedding is only ONE WEEK AWAY!
<<insert squeals of excitement>>
As I sit here daydreaming about who will design Meghan Markle's wedding dress and what it will look like (my bets are on Ralph & Russo or Erdem, although I'd love to see her in Berta or Ines Di Santo), I've compiled a list of must-reads to fill the royal romance void in your life.

So here are my Top 5 royal inspired love stories to get you though the next seven excruciating days:
1. Royal Wedding Series by Rachel Hauck
After reading Once Upon a Prince, the first book in the Royal Wedding series a few years ago, I quickly devoured the rest of Rachel Hauck's works. Her stories are an endearing mixture of small town America, gut-wrenching life challenges, and royal opulence. Sprinkled with subtle Christian undertones, this series follows the lives of the royal family of Brighton Kingdom as they stumble upon love in the most unexpected places, discover long lost relatives, and maneuver a tumultuous political climate.
*They've also adapted Once Upon A Prince into a Hallmark Movie. Catch it on Saturday, May 19th!
2. The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan
Who isn't a sucker for a good William and Kate inspired love story?!
The Royal We follows Bex, an American studying abroad at Oxford, as she crosses paths with the Great Britain's future king. Dating Nick immerses Bex in ritzy society, dazzling ski trips, and dinners at Kensington Palace. But the relationship also comes with unimaginable baggage: hysterical tabloids, Nick's sparkling and far more suitable ex-girlfriends, and a royal family whose private life is much thornier and more tragic than anyone on the outside knows. The pressures are almost too much to bear.
Which is how she gets into trouble...
3. Unruly Royals Series by Megan Mulry
Mulry's Unruly Royals series chronicles the life of four strong female leads and takes a witty approach to the obsession American tabloids (alright Americans in general) have on the British royal family. We all fascinate about becoming a princess, right? But what happens when the pipe dream of being royal becomes a reality? Can you handle the paparazzi? the public scrutiny?
4. Royals of Monterra Series by Sariah Wilson
Looking for an easy weekend read? Royal Date by Sariah Wilson perfectly fits the bill. Loosely based on the typical "Cinderella" storyline, Royal Date follows life of Kat MacTaggert, a young women haunted by a traumatic childhood. Steering clear of relationships and staying closed off are what Kate excels in, but all bets are off the table when Kat and her best friend Lemon spend their winter break skiing in in the Italianesque country of Monterra. Que one bad accident, a handsome prince, and and a lot of self reflection. Of course this one ends with "Happily Ever After."
5. The Selection Series by Kiera Cass
Are you a reality TV addict? Die hard fan of The Bachelor? Then you are in for a treat with Kiera Cass' Selection series.
For thirty-five girls, the Selection is the chance of a lifetime. The opportunity to escape a rigid caste system, live in a palace, and compete for the heart of gorgeous Prince Maxon. But for America Singer, being Selected is a nightmare.
*Have Amazon Prime? The first book in the series is free with Prime Reading.
Honorable Mention:
The Red Queen Series by Victoria Aveyard
Looking to replace love and romance with a bit more action and adventure? Victoria Aveyard's Red Queen series simulates a Game of Thrones-like civilization that you are sure to enjoy!
